WiBAS™ G5 dual-BS is the latest addition to the G5 generation of the product line for ultra-fast Fixed Wireless Access (FWA). It is an all-outdoor dual-carrier PtMP hub radio operating in the 28 GHz mmwave licensed band and combining the use of wide 112MHz channels with the most advanced FDD MU-MIMO and interference cancellation techniques to deliver up to 3.2 Gbps .

WiBAS™ G5 dual-BS is ideal for operators needing to deploy dense FWA networks - capable of serving up to 240 terminal stations (per hub). It is based on a software-defined radio platform, which provides future-proof deployments and feature enhancements through software licensing. The advanced modem technology of WIBAS™ system enables the operation of the system at a maximum 1024 modulation scheme, therefore terminals can achieve total throughput of 1Gbps.

Operators can instantly increase the total network capacity of an existing WiBAS™ deployment just by deploying next to an existing WiBAS™ system without the need to obtain additional spectrum assets. WiBAS™ G5 dual-BS combines sophisticated QoS features and robust performance with a highly-efficient operation.

The electronics - baseband unit / modem / controller and radio circuitry - are all securely accommodated in a lightweight, environmentally-hardened housing that is directly coupled to the antenna. WiBAS™ G5 dual-BS is compatible with all WiBAS™ Connect / WiBAS™ G5 Connect+ 28GHz terminal stations.
